This might seem odd, but I get my nails done for my fingerstyle / classical guitar playing. After a few bad nail breaks before gigs this winter, I decided to give gel nails a try (index, middle, ring) and they are amazing! Vicky does a stellar job!
I was treated horribly. Long, the nail tech, was so mean. He yelled at me and told me to “trust him” while he was digging into my nails with a tweezers. He cut me then passed me off to someone else then came back and put two nail tips on and they were awful, crooked and bad. He was downright mean to me and did a horrible job. I will never go there again.
I hadn’t had a pedicure in ages and wanted pretty toes for an upcoming vacation. Upon arriving, I was promptly greeted and didn’t have to wait. The pedicure itself was nice, but I’m giving three stars because the technician cut the sides of my toenail too deeply, leading to an infection that required antibiotics. The healthcare provider who treated me mentioned that cutting the sides of the nails is unnecessary and should never be done. Unfortunately, my vacation was uncomfortable due to the infected toe, and because of this experience, I doubt I'll be a return customer.
